--WELCOME TO OUR WEDDING SITE--

Greetings & God Bless You All
From Debra DelZotto & Bill Howeth

**********

This blog has been created for our family and friends to provide information about our upcoming wedding which will take place Friday, May 23rd, 2008 at 11:00AM in the mountains at Mt Falcon Park south of Kittredge and east of Evergreen right on the rock shown in this picture that was taken last year! We would be honored by your presence at this ceremony in God's Country just a short drive from Denver.
**********
The site is accessible by paved road and the wedding site is only a dozen yards from the parking lot so no one will have to "trek into the wild." A reception luncheon and celebration will follow and be held at Keys On The Green, which is the country club just west of Evergreen 10 minutes from the wedding site. In case of inclement weather we have a backup plan which provides a wedding site indoors at the 1st Baptist Church Of Evergreen to keep all y'all dry as a bone. But we are prayerfully confident the weather will be sunny and nice that day. At any rate the maps to all the locations are available below on this site to get you to the Place God has made for this celebration.

Gifts:
We feel very blessed. We live in a country that provides us such wealth. Because we are combining 2 households, one from Phoenix that has not been unpacked; we will not have any idea of our wants until after the wedding, we certainly have been provided with our needs.
**********
We humbly ask you to choose one of the following options if you plan to give a gift:
1) Donate to your favorite charity, or World Vision @
http://www.worldvision.org/
2) Gift Cards for household stores, ie: Bed, Bath & Beyond, Lowe’s, World Market

Most importantly, we would like you to join us in celebration of what God is doing in our life and our desire to walk closely with Him now and going forward in our marriage.

Wedding & Reception Site Maps

**********

The maps to the wedding and reception sites are below. We will be sending these out as PDF files with the directions you see here so you can print them as well. If you cannot open a PDF file email Bill at:

He will send you the images to print. Since most of these addresses don't Google well we made our own maps. (Don't worry, Bill won't give up his day job!) If the weather turns out to be rainy we will hold the wedding at the 1st Baptist Church outside Evergreen. We will let everyone know by email and / or phone if that happens should it come to that. Just print all the maps attached in the email that has the link to this blog. So save the email. If you get confused on these directions, email or call Bill and tell him you need a helicopter…….. (Just messin with you!) He knows how to 'git round these parts.' It is simpler than it looks on paper.

The first map is the overall site map. This shows 3 sites:
1) The Primary Wedding Site at Mt Falcon Park
2) The Reception Site at "The Keys On The Green"
3) The Backup Wedding Site at 1st Baptist Church

**********
The second map shows the Primary Wedding Site.
The third map shows the Reception and Backup Wedding Sites.
Directions are provided for each. All roads are paved so don't worry about needin' a 4 wheeler to git around!
**********
1) The Primary Wedding Site is Mt Falcon Park.
All roads are paved. To get there take I-70 west of Denver and take exit 260 at C-470 and drive south 4.4 miles to the Morrison exit (Highway 8). Drive west into Morrison for a half mile and take Highway 74 to Kittredge for about 8 miles. There is a sign that indicates Mt Falcon Park. Turn left at the sign which is Myers Gulch Rd and drive south 1.9 miles. Myers Gulch Rd turns into Parmalee Gulch Rd. Continue for 1 mile. The sign for Mt Falcon Park will show you turning left onto Picutis Rd.
**********
Okay, from this point we will have signs showing the way to the wedding site. Just follow the balloons attached to them. The directions are more complex than it really is from this point. For those who like printed directions in detail, enquiring minds want to know! So here we go. WHEEEEE!

As soon as you turn off Parmalee Gulch Rd onto Picutis Rd turn left at Comanche Rd for 0.1 mile, slight right at Oh-Kay Rd for 0.1 mile, slight right back onto Picutis Rd for 0.4 mile, slight left at Nambe Rd for 0.6 mile, slight right at Cameyo Rd W for 203 ft and continue on Mt Falcon Rd 0.3 mile to the parking lot. (In other words, make it easy and follow the balloons!)

***********
The wedding site is at the picnic tables next to the parking lot to the east. The ceremony will be about 30 minutes. If you want to bring a few lawn chairs feel free to.

Clothing: Casual Dressy
**********
2) The Reception Site is "Keys At The Green."
This is located west of Evergreen just outside of town. From the wedding site, drive back down to Parmalee Gulch Rd and turn right back towards Kittredge. (Can you say backtrack?) At Highway 74, turn left to Evergreen and drive 2.5 miles and drive through Evergreen. At the junction of Highway 73 stay on Highway 74 for a half mile as you pass by the lake and turn left onto Upper Bear Creek Rd and continue for a half mile to Keys On The Green, the country club for the golf course. It is on your left.

**********

3) The Backup Wedding Site is 1st Baptist Church.
This is just north of the reception site can be reached from Evergreen by driving west out of town on Highway 74 (Evergreen Parkway) towards I-70 1.2 miles to Troutdale Scenic Dr and taking a left for 0.2 miles to the church which on the right side on the hill. It is a large building so you can’t miss it.
